Schogetten is the granny brand. If you are around 30 and over, grew up in Germany, and if your grandma ever gave you a bar of chocolate, it probably were Schogetten (or Ritter Sport if your family is filthy rich, but usually grandma still rather saves that money for the next war).

Ah, that overly sweet flavor, the white discoloration and sandy texture they got from laying in grandma’s cupboard for 3 years straight, that’s a trip down memory lane.

Like those unidentifiable hard candies that all stick together in one big lump after sitting on the table for half a decade. Yummy.

Unless you are 70+ yourself, better buy another brand. ;)
