What are you blabbing about? Average 30year home mortgage rate today is 8%. 2 years ago it was 2.75%. Which means the cost of home ownership for new buyers has increased 3x. What difference does it make what percent of household income your mortgage takes up if you can't afford to make the payments. Inflation and the Fed rate hikes are killing young wage earning families. Ask yourself why instead. What happened in the last two years?
