The White House announced changes to some of its international travel
restrictions on Monday. Starting early November, air travellers will need to
provide a negative COVID-19 test taken at least 72 hours before boarding and
proof of their double vaccination status to be eligible to enter the United
States.
** However, the ban on non-essential travel across the Canada-U.S. land border
was extended for another month.**They (The U.S) don’t want to be the ones to
screen the requirements that are part of getting across the border, let the
airlines do it. That’s holding this up at the moment,” says Firestone.
